CRM Salesman Complement

Assign a second executive to a record — the one who activates the account — alongside the main executive.

What You Can Do

  • Assign a second executive to a prospect or a registered client
  • Change or remove that assignment
  • Show the second executive as a column in the CRM list
  • Filter the list by second executive
  • See the records where you are the second executive, even when you are not the main one

Getting There

CRM in the main menu, then open any record from the list or from a Kanban card. The field appears in the record panel, next to the main executive.

Common Tasks

Assigning a second executive

  1. Open the record.
  2. Find the line with the second executive, next to the main one.
  3. Click the edit icon.
  4. Pick a person from the list and save.

The list only offers people who are allowed to hold the role, so you cannot assign someone who would then be unable to work the record.

Changing or removing the assignment

Same steps. To remove it, clear the select and save.

Showing the column in the list

  1. Open the CRM list.
  2. Click the gear icon above the table.
  3. Tick the second executive column.
  4. Save.

Filtering by second executive

The filter is hidden by default. Enable it from the same gear icon, then pick one or more people. Records without a second executive are not returned by this filter.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the field called "Closer" here and something else elsewhere?

The role has one internal name across the whole platform, but the word shown on screen is the one your market uses. Colombia says "closer", Mexico says "activador". Changing the displayed word is a translation change and does not affect the data.

I cannot see the edit icon. Why?

Editing requires one of three permissions: the permission to assign this role, the manager permission, or the permission to see all CRM records. Without any of them you can still read the value when one is set, but not change it.

I just received the permission and still cannot edit. Why?

Permissions are read from your session. Log out and back in so the new one is picked up.

The column header shows something like generals.salesman_complement instead of a word.

Your browser is holding an old copy of the translations. Reload the page; if it persists, clear the site data for the application and log in again.

Does assigning a second executive change who owns the record?

No. The main executive is unchanged. The second executive is an addition, and both see the record in their own list.

What happens when a prospect becomes a client?

The second executive carries over to the client record. If the prospect had none, the client ends up with none.
